Lots of kids have the qualities that we look for in a leader.
Are they born with them? Do they learn the skills at home? At school?
Leadership skills can be encouraged and learned. Kids can be exposed to good
leadership at home, in their community, in media. The great qualities of leaders can be pointed out to kids, and kids can be shown ways to take leadership, even in small ways.
In our hunt around the net for inspiration for kids we came across a site
called Inspire My Kids and they have a good article on kids and leadership.
